The new cruise ferry NOVA STAR made a call in Lisbon on 7 and 8 April 2014 on her delivery voyage from Singapore to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.
She is going to reopen a regular ferry service between Nova Scotia and Maine operated by Nova Star Cruises starting next May.
NOVA STAR was constructed in Singapore to the order of the French L D Lines as NORMAN LEADER and finished in 2011. 
She was destined to operate on Dover channel but her acceptance was refused by L D Lines on the ground of safety issues, and remained in the shipyard for three years until her recent sale and renaming.+2014-04-08+7437.JPG)
